I’m going to try not overly gush about this beautiful Black Heart Creatives Scandinavian inspired laser cut acrylic Christmas Heart necklace for the sake of doing a balanced review but OMG it’s just so GORGEOUS *gushes*. I’m a big fan of acrylic, laser cut handmade jewellery. I have lots of pieces from Tatty Devine and other places so I jumped at the chance to review a piece from Black Heart Creatives Christmas collection, which you can see more of here. I’ve long admired Black Heart Creatives work. They do custom designs for a very reasonable price. Along with this they do other necklaces, collar pins, earrings, brooches, and rings. The range of variety available is really brilliant.
My necklace is a new design for their Christmas collection this year. The intricately cut Scandinavian pattern is mounted upon a heart. I chose the red back with white pattern but this is interchangeable as are the colour of the chains, and indeed chain lengths. The quality and finish of this necklace is incredibly high, in fact it’s hard to believe it handmade. The perspex isn’t flimsy at all, it’s reassuringly robust without being overly clunky or heavy. I’ll have this at Christmas time for many, many years to come.
The Scandinavian Christmas Heart Necklace adds a touch of festive sophistication to your outfit. There’s other beautiful designs available in the Christmas collection such as the Scandinavian Bird, Scandinavian Christmas Reindeer, the stunning Reindeer Sleigh Statement necklace, or there’s brooches available with Scandinavian inspired designs.
One of the things I love about buying anything from small independents is that there's always that little bit extra when it comes to packaging. It's much more personal and thoughtful. Black Heart Creatives packaging is perfect in this respect. It's like getting a gift from a close friend. Lovely.
