The Bluebeards Revenge Cuban Blend Beard Oil

beard oil for softening conditioning beards

beard oil for growing beards

Something a little bit different but entirely fitting since it’s Movember. Men can be terrible at seeking medical attention so (as cynical as I am) Movember helps to raise awareness for men's health issues. For more info please visit Movember website.

Men’s beards or other facial hair can be really itchy and annoying when growing so a little help from some beard oil or balm can help reduce discomfort for both the grower and their partner ( it can be itchy as hell kissing a bearded man). My husband recently decided he wanted to be more manly and grow a beard. I made him use a beard oil to keep it a bit softer and a little bit less scruffy.  I purchased Bluebeards Revenge Cuban Blend beard oil. Now, I’m not entirely into their marketing. If you go to their site you’ll see in CAPITAL LETTERS “not for girls” *groan*, the company The Bluebeards Revenge won brand of the year at FHM Grooming Awards, so you know, that explains it. But come on please stop with this kind of marketing for men’s brands. They’re better than that (honestly).

Anyway, back to Bluebeards Revenge Cuban Blend Beard Oil. My husband is a big fan of this. Bluebeards Revenge Cuban Blend Beard Oil will smooth, moisturise, soften and protect facial hair and skin. It’s oily without being too greasy. Makes his beard soft and less brittle. And the smell is lovely while still being manly. It contains olive oil as the main ingredient with sunflower and cedarwood. The smell is apparently inspired by the Caribbean. I like it, it’s a nice gentle smell. Not overpowering at all. A little goes a long way so it should last for quite a while. My husband says it should be used sparingly. If you use too much initially it can feel really oily an hour or so later.

Bluebeards Revenge Cuban Blend Beard Oil would be a really nice present, or if like me you can’t stand the itching please do purchase it for your partner! I bought Bluebeards Revenge Cuban Blend Beard Oil from ASOS

  1. Hi Trona, i'm pleased modern day guys are into skincare products..a generation ago they were stuck in the 'man caves'. My hubby loves his skincare, Elemis, Liz Earle & co and sometimes gets his paws on mine (not too often of course)> I like the sound of this oil, aroma sounds good and I think their hairs need softening as we can end up with facial rash *arggh*! Mine's not got a beard but more of a streamline goalie but i'm sure this might help.
