Is it just me or is time
absolutely flying by? I’ve been trying to make a concerted effort to update my
blog and other social media more regularly. But in case you didn’t know 3 year
olds are actually quite demanding. Thankfully, my son
returns back to nursery next week so I might actually have a little bit of time
to myself. What’s the first thing you do when you have a bit of free time? For
me I have a long, hot bath. This is the single most luxurious thing in the
world for me, perhaps closely followed by having my bed to myself.
Parents/carers of young kids, I’m sure you understand me.
When I did my MA with the Open
University I often set up my bathroom up as a little study area. I used my
Aidapt Bath Board as a desk while I took a bath to help ease
pain. While taking a bath I’ve used lots of different products aimed at easing
muscle and joint pain, as well as using products to relax stressed minds.
Products I’ve returned to again and again are Kneipp bath products. Despite the products I’m going to discuss today being PR samples
I have actually been using these bath salts (and oils) for years. There are
several reasons why I return to these products and much prefer them to other
bath products. Firstly, and importantly, they actually work. Just before
writing this I had a long bath in Kneipp Mineral Bath Salt- Joint and Musicle with Arnica* (the orange bath salts shown in the photos). You may know
that I have serious spinal problems and this comes with a whole host of other
muscle and nerve pain. Lately I’ve been having the worst muscle pain and
spasms, as well as arthritic pain and these bath salts genuinely help ease
pain and make me feel more comfortable, even just for a short while. They'd also be perfect for after physical activity or if you've just had a strenuous day, highly recommended!
I’m also a big fan of Kneipp Mineral Bath in Balancing Lavender*. This is an incredibly soothing and
relaxing bath product. If you're feeling stressed this is perfect for you. Not
only is Kneipp Balancing Lavender relaxing it also leaves skin feeling soft and
moisturised. Which brings me onto another reason why I love Kneipp bath salts
so much is that they don’t irritate my very sensitive skin. Products such as
Lush bath bombs often itch and dry up my skin but Kneipp always leaves my skin
soothed and moisturised.
As you’ve probably guessed I’m a big
fan of Kneipp products. They have a whole range dealing with all kinds of
ailments. You can try a lovely pack with 6 travel size products for only £7 here. I think it’s a really good bargain and a nice introduction to
the brand. A very nice little treat either for yourself or for someone else.
