My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream* has come along at the perfect time for me. This product was developed by the NHS to give to patients with dry skin and burns. I’ve just recently spent a bit of time in hospital and between the harsh soap and medical tape my skin has been very dry and damaged. So, what better conditions to try this out then.
My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream is “based on an original formula developed by clinical scientists at the NHS, My Trusty® contains 5% pure sunflower oil so is rich in essential fatty acids with no parabens, colours or perfumes.” [source]. It's not been tested on animals either. This is a rich but non-greasy cream that absorbs quickly and easily. I have the unscented version and you can definitely smell the sunflower oil in it. On the skin the smell doesn’t linger though. It also comes in lavender, which I think I’ll probably buy once this one is finished. I’m really impressed with this no-fuss moisturiser. It quickly soothed the burn I had on my hand and also the dermatitis I have on my arms. It doesn’t irritate my skin, which many moisturisers can do. So, especially if you have sensitive skin this might be a good product for you to try. But it'll work with all skin types.
