Sleek blushers are without doubt one of the best budget blushers you can buy. The packaging and even the colours are reminiscent of the much more pricey Nars blushes. The quality is just as good, and even better in some cases. I find the Sleek blushers I’ve used last on the skin much longer than Nars. So when I decided I needed a new blusher to brighten up my complexion but would also be budget friendly I popped to Superdrug to check out Sleek.

Sleek describe their creme to powder blushers as:

- Innovative crème to powder blush offers radiance and a satin finish

- The soft texture blends to a light powdery effect, suitable for all skin types

- The long-wearing, silky formula glides on smoothly and is excellent for touch-ups throughout the day

- Crème to Powder Blush sculpts and highlights cheekbones in an ultra-natural way

- Apply delicately with your fingertips onto the apples of the cheeks and blend gently

Sleek creme to powder blush in Amaryllis is an intense looking mid tone deep pink (with slight cool leanings). It looks bright but it blends out giving a more natural finish on the skin than it looks in the pan. The cream texture blends really easily on the skin and there’s a nice bit of time to work with it before it sets to a powdery, satin finish. This lasts well on my cheeks throughout the day.

I think Amaryllis would suit most skin tones, apart from really warm but it would especially suit dark skin. The blusher can be built up to give a really intense hit of colour or sheered out for a more subtle finish. Again, I’m really impressed with the quality of Sleek blushers. The pigment is great, it’s easy to work with and it lasts. So if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative or dupe of Nars blushers then Sleek creme to powder blushers (and their other blushers) are worth a go.

  1. I'm having such a hard time with blusher right now, I definitely need something to put some colour in my cheeks but I can't find one that doesn't just bring out the redness in my face :(

    This colour looks lovely xx

    1. there's also more muted pinks that might be better suited to you. Their powder blushers are also worth a look, definitely one of my favourites (besides the much more pricey Illamasqua ones which are just 👌)
